Edsbyn Black is a Swedish-made frame in high-quality real ayous wood. The frame is painted black giving it a modern and timeless appearance which is further enhanced by its angular profile. The frame is 13 mm wide and 11.5 mm deep making it sleek whilst still being solid and stable. The brackets are suitable for both vertical and horizontal wall mounting. The frame has a rabbet depth (inner depth) of 8 mm allowing plenty of room for an elegant picture mount. The back panel is made from MDF and held in place with the help of small metal pins that can be easily lifted up when you want to insert your image.

This frame is fitted with acrylic glass - a durable glass made from acrylic plastic. It has the advantages of being unbreakable as well as lightweight. A frame fitted with acrylic glass is therefore lighter overall than other frames fitted with real glass. This makes them perfect for use in a child’s room where a lighter framing is required. The frame is delivered with a protective plastic film on the glass which you can easily remove before mounting your picture on the wall.
