Puzzle frames - frame your puzzle!

Doing puzzles is a hobby that works on your patience and focus. It can also be a relaxing activity, a way of letting go of everything for a moment. But when you've done a 500- or 1000-piece puzzle, it's such a shame to just take it apart and put it back in the box. That's why many choose to frame their puzzle and put it on the wall.

Picture frames for puzzles - thickness

It's possible to order frames that are specifically tailored for the size of your puzzle, but if you don't want to spend so much on a custom puzzle frame, then there are plenty of ordinary picture frames that can work with the thickness of your puzzle. You just need to find a sufficiently deep picture frame, and many ordinary frames are, unfortunately, unsuitable because the space between the backing and the glass is too small. But it's possible to find the right one! The catches which hold the backing in place also need to be flexible, to allow some extra thickness. This modern and simple picture frame comes from the reputable Walther brand and gives your image (or puzzle, in this case) an elegant framing. In the Galeria collection there are picture frames in white, black, red, silver, copper and gold.

Chair

This picture frame has a depth of 18 mm, meaning that the image comes out somewhat from the wall and creates a striking 3D effect. The picture frame has a simple edge which allows your puzzle to stand out. It comes in several different colours, including black, white, silver and gold.

Picture frames for puzzles – height and width

When you've found a picture frame that you like, you then need to choose a size that suits your puzzle's height and width. For example, 1000-piece puzzles often have the size 50x70 cm, or slightly smaller, and are therefore suitable for picture frames with the size 50x70. But the size of puzzles varies, of course, so you should check which dimensions are given on the puzzle box before you look for a suitable picture frame.
